ACTA and stuff

So we all know about SOPA, and now there's all this info going around about ACTA. I was still pretty unsure of what it was all about until I watched this really great video that explains it in easy to understand terms. This is terrible, and just plain scary.

Anonymous has some really good and informative videos on their youtube channel. Go educate yourselves.
Also, you sign sign a petition to try and demonstrate to the EU Parliament that we as a people DO NOT support ACTA. Petition is here.

On an entirely different note, there is also a bill that is trying to take away America's rights entirely. Giving our military the power to arrest anyone they suspect as a terrorist, not just foreigners. Meaning secret arrests, no trials, being held without ever being told what the charges are. There's a day of action set for February 3rd. If I can find a gathering near me, I'm there.

the need to back off the internet and focus on poverty, war, hunger, guns, pedophiles etc etc..the list is endless...someone downloading a movie of off the internet is the least of their problems...
