4k words later and I've finished both my Teen Wolf fall harvest and holiday exchange fics =D

I'm very excited about both of them too. YAYYYYY!!! I can't even begin to say how stress free this makes me. I have the rest of October to finish Merlin exchange and TW reverse bang. Merlin is only 1k min and with the reverse bang I know what I'm doing and am going to work on it tomorrow!!

It feels so absolutely great to be caught up with people and fic.

On that note, I somehow decided that adding TVD exchange to my extensive list was a good idea. oops lol. I don't get that assignment or several weeks though and it's only 1k min so it should be fine. I wanted to do it last year and didn't so I'm going to this year. I want to get back to writing a TVD fic now and again. It's been a LONG while since I've participated in the fandom and I kind of miss it.

Managed to get a solid 1,500 words down tonight for TW Holidays :) Pretty exciting considering the min is only 1k and I was just leisurely writing.

The story is going to be completely adorable. Which is entirely wonderful because all my bangs are really heavy topics- its nice to write a little carefree piece with lots of sarcastic Stiles. Making myself laugh while I'm writing is awesome ^^ (I'm neither sarcastic or funny so it can be a challenge ppl)

I'm proud of how much I've grown as an author. Handling multiple fics at a time used to be my worst nightmare but now I enjoy it. It's nice to have an array of topics to choose from based on my mood :)

So I went and looked at all my deadlines. Sure glad I did cus I'm silly lol.

I've been slaving away at my mini bang and big bang and it turns out those actually aren't due until December. Reverse bang and fall harvest are actually due the beginning of November. It's a relief to know they're more spread out than I had originally thought. Especially considering I'm pretty sure my bb is going to end up being longer than the required 15k min. I'm already at 10k and I have lots more story to tell.

So my new plan is to finish my mini bang over this week since it's already so close anyways and then start work on my reverse bb since I'm so excited about it. Might try and get the fall harvest out of the way too since it shouldn't take me too long to get that one down.

Hey guys!

Had a super duper productive weekend for once :)

Finished the Isaac/Scott fic plus started AND finished Danny/Jackson so now 4/5 of my mini bang fics are done. WOOHOO!!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to do a pack orgy for the last fic. Handling multiple characters at a time still makes me nervous, but I think it would be really awesome and fun. Part of me wants to write Sterek, but the whole point of the mini bang as to branch out and write rarepairs. I'm so glad I did it. It's been really challenging and FUN so far. I think Peter/Lydia might be my favorite. That couple is twisted and wonderul.

I also added 3k+ words to my big bang so that's just over half done at 8k words!!! *\O/* happy dance!!! I can't tell you guys how much I adore this fic. It's the first time since ever I've felt calm and confident about putting together a heavy plot fic. 8k words and no sex- it's kind of a miracle lmao. It makes my heart glad though- I've kind of been getting tired of writing pwp's as great as they are. I wanted more meat! I almost made myself cry while writing today...gah it's going to be so wonderful. A big bang I can really be proud of.

Also went through reverse bb claims for TW. I got my first pick!!! YOU GUYS!! this video I get to write for...it's fucking amazing and the artist is amazing, and I'm really looking forward to it. I had to tell my muse to calm her tits cus she really wanted to start on the fic right away, but I was good and worked on my other things. Once I get my mini bang done I'll allow myself to start working on the reverse bb. I already know how it's going to start and gah! I WANT TO WRITE YOU YOU BEAUTIUL FIC. lol.

I really need to go through and figure out the deadlines for everything so I can figure out my priorities. I'm fairly certain most things end the beginning of November, but I'm not really sure. A month and a half to finish what I have so far really isn't much time, but I feel confident about all my projects. Every single story is something I'm truly excited to write- something I think will be a fantastic contribution to the fandom. *happy sigh*

Had a wonderful weekend but I didn't get much writing done. I wanted to completely finish my minibang but I only got to add about 800 words to one of them. I am almost finished with the Lydia/Peter though is 2/5 will be done. I've decided one of them will be Scott/Isaac sounding (EEK! My first sound fic and I'm EXCITED ppl) and maybe a Papa Stilinski/Mr. Argent fic because I've recently discovered this pairing and I immediately fell in love with it. (I can't get on board the recently popular Chris/Peter train)

I got my fall harvest fest assignment and I'm a little nervous. Without saying too much- the ideas the promoter wants aren't exactly my specialty. Nothing crazy, just not something I'd usually do. I'm not really even brainstorming about that yet though. Not til minibang is done and I get my reverse bang art- claims are THIS weekend. Super duper excited about it.

Would anyone be willing/able to help beta a fic I'm working on? It's currently at 3k words and I'm approximately halfway done with it. It's a future! established relationship! M/A Merlin fic, rated NC17.

I'm so happy...I finally had time to update my journal and do some maintenance on some comms. woot!

Got my

merlin_canon story uploaded, now I just need to get my

merlin_games fic loaded. I want to clean that one up even more before I post it though. I ran out of time and it's not nearly where I wanted it to be. In fact, it originally started out as an entirely other plot line, but it was going to be far too long. I would like to write my first idea some time though. It would be pretty epic. Will also be posting my glomp fest fic next week- so exciting!!!

Real life is going pretty well too. I'm not graduating this semester, but I found out I only need to repeat one class and I'll be done. That will be super easy and I even still have the book. I'm soooo happy I'm nearly done. Getting my masters has been so much work!

Also got my license reinstated. It's been so irritating trying to deal with the court system, but I finally have my ticket taken care of and I'm a legal driver again. Now I just have to hire a lawyer and get my driving on a suspended license ticket cleared. I can't wait to move away from this state. They handle things absolutely terribly and loose paper work all the time. I never had problems like this when I lived in Illinois. I think they just get bored here and bother ppl when they shouldn't- it's extremely frustrating.

Short fics, why do you evade me? Working on a fic and it's already 2k long and that's pretty much just the intro. *facepalm* I have a feeling this is going to end up being at least 10k. Not a terrible thing really, but I was hoping to keep this one short. lol I fail. It's probably because this is a future!canon fic, which are my absolute favorite. I love writing about BAMF! Merlin and established relationship Merthur. *sigh* Makes me super happy.

So you know in that last post where I said I wasn't going to work on my novel? Well....I lied XD

Jared told me he was going to play this civilization type game with friends on the xbox tonight, so I knew I'd be bored out of my mind. Not wanting to stay couped up in the house with nothing to do, I went to the local coffee shop and worked on my novel. Man, it is such hard work! I actually put my outline down on paper since it has all been in my head, and then started on character sketches. My main character is pretty much done, but I still have so far to go before I can continue on with the chapter writing.

I wonder if every novelist goes though this or if I'm being overly thorough? Either way, it makes me feel like I've got my head fully wrapped around the characters and where they're coming from. Plus it's helping me flesh out the basic foundations of the world they live in, since it's not the same as ours. I already know I want to add in a prologue with some of their history and religion as a background for where everything is going.

I'm hoping that in the long run (and if this thing ever gets published) my hard work will pay off with believable characters, character growth, plot twists, and an overall good story that doesn't have any major disappointments for the reader. I realize that this seems like common sense, but even popular book series these days really aren't of the best caliber of writing. Such as The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Great idea, terrible writing.

Anyways, it was fun to get one step closer to the finished product.

So proud of myself for getting it finished. I actually really love it too. Proof that I CAN write super fluffy goodness without all the angsty feelings. It's just so freakin adorable! Posting starts sometime in late January, so I can't put it on my LJ til then- but it's still so nice to have it done!

I may have cried a little bit when I finished. This story is my baby. Just omg...I'm so happy. It's right at 15,000 words which is exactly what I predicted when I came up with the outline. Thank-you so much
