So I've been trying to convince my friend to start watching Merlin. We watch TB and TVD together and she just needs to be involved in the Merlin fandom too. As a result of explaining to her how to find the first season on hulu I rewatched the first episode. Wow....it has been a LONG time since I watched that!

I have to admit I was not brought over to the Merthur side until after I'd watched the entire show, so rewatching episode one was really quite enlightning. I really didn't remember that "So Merlin, do you know how to walk on your knees?" was actually a line.

How did I not pick up on the total slash factor earlier? Pretty much died laughing and my fingers were begging me to type out some porn *yum* oh gosh...I'm still laughing. I just can't believe that was a real line in the show. Are there gifs involving this dialogue? Please someone direct me towards them. Okies....moving on.

I must say that I am beyond excited for the premier of Vampire Diaries in ONE WEEK!!!! Oh how I've missed my Damon Salvatore!!! *EEK* I'm ready for some well deserved Delena moments. All I can hope for this season is at least one steamy Delena scene and not to much random drama. I'm cool with Stefan being all bad guy as long as they don't make it drawn out and retarded. Granted...this isn't ABall from TB so we should be good ^^ The thing I'm looking forward to most is the action packed shows. TVD is so awesome about making every episode feel like a season finale.

That's my rant for now. School and work is consuming my life and I'm 100% exhausted this evening. I'll be working for my prompt fest fill all this weekend since it needs to be done by Sunday *whew*

um yeah, the slash is pretty freaking obvious when you go back and watch the first series again. I just watched a lot of it recently because I got the first season on DVD, and sometimes I'm like, seriously, writers? You write things like that and you don't want us to ship them? COME ON.

yay for TVD coming back! I can't wait! ♥

Yeah, I don't know how they don't expect us to ship them either. It really seems pretty obvious. I've always been a huge Gwen/Lancelot shipper even before this show came out so Arthur and her really don't need to happen. I'd be completely fine with the show changing legend a bit lol.

Are you involved in any TVD communities? I'm in damonxelena but they don't seem to be to active right now. Wasn't sure if there was someplace else I should be...that doesn't hate Delena lovers. Btw, have you seen the new promo posters? Seriously....what's with the fruit?

And I have read your smut-fest...I'm gonna go comment on the post :)

well the communities I've always been a part of are damon_elena and tvd_fic
I also just joined tvd_fans and ontd_tvd.
While I haven't seen anything yet for this upcoming season, damon_elena has been a great community in the past.

The first time I picked up on the ridiculous amount of UST between Merlin and Arthur was The Poisoned Chalice. Just... Arthur rushing to crouch over Merlin when he faints. There are gifs of it somewhere, and it's just incredibly adorable.

Incidently, I learnt what UST was when I missed an episode and had to look up a summary online. And who said fandom never taught you anything!

lol I vaguely picked up on it in season 3 but that's about it. Granted, I've never really been a slash shipper before so I'm blaming my ignorance on that ^^

i had friends tell me about the Merthur side of things before i started watching the show, so i had a hard time missing it despite not being a slash fan. i am however a fierce slash appreciator? *g*

omg favourite Damon scene EVER! ahum, when i saw that scene it became the new meaning of my life *g* i'm sooo excited to have TVD back (or all my shows tbh :)

I'm not usually a huge slash fan but Merthur is my one exception and I blame fanfiction for that. I got sucked in and can't seem to stop, the whole destiny/two sides of the same coin thing just makes it work for them. I've decided I'm going to rewatch the whole show with my readjusted viewpoint.

Damon dancing on the balcony with his shirt open was the scene that changed my life *drool* he was just...*sigh* too amazing for words lol. I'm super excited to have all my shows back too....and to see if this Secret Circle is going to be any good. It looks awesome.
