happyevraftrWell I thought I'd post a general "who is this chick?" post :)
My name is Brea. I'm currently located in central USA. I'm married to a wonderful man named Jared. We've known each other for a long time, dated for two years and have now been married for two and half years.
I went to college for Mass Communications and Public Relations. For some reason my parents discouraged me from majoring in journalism or creative writing. Something about writers not making any money...which is true, but I'm still poor lol. Right now I'm getting my master's degree in Organization Leadership. It's a great program but it eats up a TON of my time. My husband is just finishing up his undergrad in Graphic Design. He's amazing at what he does and I'm still trying to convince him to be my fanart whore---he's not real excited 'bout that idea though. We both just turned 24 and are originally from central Illinois. After we finish college we'll prolly head back to the Chicago area. If I could live anywhere else in the world it would probably be Ireland. We went there for our honeymoon and I fell in love. It's gorgeous there, the people are very nice and they speak English!
I discovered fanfiction almost three years ago. Eventually I started writing some of my own stuff and now it's turned into a life of its own. Writing is a huge passion of mine that I never would have found without the wonderful people in all my fandoms. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'm very critical of myself so publishing or even keeping something I wrote used to be a big challenge. Most of the time I'm still not happy with my work, but I'm learning to accept that and enjoy the process. My dream would be to write an original novel. I've started a few times, but haven't ever come up with something really worth putting the effort into. Maybe someday I will :)
I'm sort of a jack of all trades- I teach dance, piano and can train horses. Dancing is my other major passion besides writing. This is likely to be my last dance season which makes me super sad. Anyways...my other hobbies include collecting and reading books as much as possible, shopping and playing ffxi.

You should totally get your husband to make you some pretty graphics to do with your stories! Which, speaking of, I'll have to read some of them! I have so much fic bookmarked its ridiculous but I always love finding more!
How did you and your husband meet?

Of course I'd love more feedback on my fics :) I need to go read yours too! I can never get enough fanfiction!!!
