See, I'm used to doing small fics, since I participate in camelot_drabble every now and then. But the world-building was what really got me in the end. :/
I think it also helps that there seems to be a lot of people in the Merlin fandom who are now joining the TW fandom as well (at least it's the case for most of my flist), so it's easier to squee with people you already know. ^^
