I totally know what you mean about the holidays being stressful, I still haven't finished all my Christmas shopping and haven't even started wrapping! All your presents sound great though, I wish I had some kind of crafty side and could make presents for people, handmande things always seem so much more meaningful.
For your friend, I guess maybe something small? Although it sounds like she just wants to talk and maybe reconnect, I doubt she's be expecting a present. You could bring something just in case she does, something that you could use yourself or give to someone else if you don't end up giving it to her.
I'm loving merlin_holidays too but I'm so behind! I've been trying to read most of the shorter ones and still need to tackle some of the longer ones, hopefully I'll be able to do that over break!
