Lovely! I loved Arthur's anguish watching Merlin do the duel and how he realizes it must have been what Merlin felt all those times he was fighting duels and risking his life. The little bit about the blood magic and the runes and Arthur getting upset about it was really intriguing!! There needs to be blood magic and Merlin exerting himself in canon, the writers should totally read your fic :D The bath scene was so warm and perfect!
