Great Weekend!

happyevraftrI had such a marvelous weekend! Minus feeling panicky over homework again of course.
Friday night we played beer pong and my husband and I totally kicked ass. We won a total of ten games, seven of them in a row. We were a "dynasty +2" so that was pretty cool. I actually prolly played the best I ever had-got on fire and then made two more cups after yippee!
And of course Supernatural was Friday night!! I haven't actually done any reviews yet for the season so here's my thoughts to date:
Supernatural
Oh how I love this show! I've watched since the beginning and can't get enough of my boys. This is the one show that I actually don't ship anybody in (besides Dean/Jo back in the day). I loved that they didn't make Cas go totally darkside and I REALLY hope they bring him back- he's such an awesome character.
I'm really enjoying how their going back to their roots and have been going on regular hunts along with all this leviathan stuff. This last episode in particular was just fantastic. The old married witches were absolutely hysterical!!!
Excited for next week to see more of the leviathans.
Saturday night I went and saw Paranormal Activity 3. It was really good! My spoilery thoughts are behind the cut.
Paranormal Activity 3
This was by far the best of the three movies. Not only was the plot really good, but it was actually really scary. When "Toby" yanks Katie up by her pony tail I def screamed. The revolving camera was also really freaky and a pretty unique idea imo. I only wish that we would have gotten a little more to the overall plot. Like why are the witches brainwashing the girls? What do they want with their sons? If the grandma was a witch it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that she would kill her own daughter/grand children. Otherwise the coven ends when they die.
I'm not sure what they would do for a fourth one, but I kind of what them to just so we get more of what exactly is happening and why.
After we watched the movie we went out to a club for drinks with some friends. I hadn't had a really good vodka cranberry in SO long- made me so happy. Once we left the bar we were supposed to all meet up at ihop but our friends ditched us. It ended up working out perfectly though cus my hubby and I sat together at IHOP and talked about all kinds of stuff. He's not really a talker and I am (I was in debate in h/s and college if that tells you anything) so it was wonderful to have some good conversation with him.
Sunday I did a little homework and reached my 5k goal for my Merlin Holidays fic!! YAAAAYYYY!!! It's nowhere near being close to done, but I'm still happy I hit my goal. I also watched Once Upon a Time. My thoughts:
Once Upon a Time
I thought this was a really creative idea and I'm super excited to see where they're going with it! I loved the flashbacks to the fairytale setting and the glimpses of characters in our world. Emma's character seems very interesting and I just love the little boy to death. A lot of setup and not to much plot this episode but it seems to have a lot of potential!!
And that was my weekend! I hope you all had a good time as well!!
