I need your help!

ok flist...I've been thinking about getting this tattoo for a LONG time and my appointment is tonight!! *eek!* I'm freaking out though cus:

1. I have the lowest pain tolerence ever and I know it's going to hurt like a mofo

2. I have commitment issues with tattoos. I mean...it's gonna be there FOREVER!!!

*deep breath*

What do you guys think of it:



It would actually be a little bit lower on my wrist and that's my left hand fyi. It means "to write" in Latin.

I don't think it'll hurt to terribly much. You might survive. Maybe ;)

I like it! I've been contemplating a tattoo for years but can't get one until after college. My grandmother said that as long as it's not visible to go for it. My mother says she'll skin me alive but that's why I'll wait I'm out of college (and away from her)

I say go for it. It's beautiful and meaningful and I like it! :D

I had to wait until after college too. My parents paid for school and my mom said she would completely stop if I got one lol. I do already have one on my ankle and she was livid about that one.

I've already bought a really pretty watch to wear over it when I'm at work so I've got that taken care of. I think I'm just nervous cus I'm going by myself.

I faint at the sight of needles. Yet I have a phoenix tattoo on my back. The only thing that hurt was when they did the S shape of the phoenix body but that was over in a second. Then it becames a bit of pleasure, I know is weird but when he was done I wanted him to continue :)

*whew* thanks! I faint at the sight of needles too! I get so panicky any time I go to the doctors. The first time my mom sent me by myself to get shots before college I almost ran out of the doctors office before they could call me name lol.

The worst shot I ever had to get was the yellow fever vaccine when I went to Africa. They give it to you in your arm and it HURTS. I asked the nurse if that was normal and she was all like "yup, that's the most painful shot we give." -.-

Hopefully I will have a positive experience like you! A phoenix sounds like a pretty awesome thing to have on your back!!!

i plan on getting a tattoo on the exact same spot (on my left arm, bc i'm a leftie) and i've been told it won't hurt all too much - it is a big commitment, but like you said, you've been thinking about it a long time, and if you still want it you should go for it :)

I like it! If its something meaningful to you I say go for it! I love wrist tattoos, I've always said if I got one thats where id get it, I just have no idea what I would ever get a tattoo of.
