So I lost my job...
Feb. 10th, 2011 01:02 pmI got fired from my job today. I've never been fired before; it was truly a surreal experience. I've already filed for unemployment and am off to see about food stamps tomorrow. Currently in the proccess of updating my resume and seeing what's out there. Needless to say, it's been one shitty day.
On the upside, this rather large bump in life has given me the much needed kick in the ass to stop talking about my book and start writing it. I've already lined up interviews and they start on Saturday! Once I get the interviews rolling it's only a matter of translating them all into epicness.
Who knows, maybe writing will turn into a full-time thing for me. I never dreamed it was a possible- but maybe it is. It's certainly a career I would actually love.
So....if you're a highschool senior, college student, recently graduated college student, or a parent of any of these, I would love to interview you for my book. PM me and we can set something up. It's going to be all about graduating during a recesion and the astronomical hardships our graduates are facing.
Please go read my stories and leave some feedback...it would seriously help cheer me up :(
