making up conversations in my head

I'm in rare form this morning. Being a non-confrontation person I have a lot of pent up anger and every now and then (usually when I'm tired or not feeling good- both of which apply this morning) I just want to yell at something. This usually results in me yelling at absolutely no one in my car. Perhaps it's the creativity that lends to me being a writer, but I make up situations in my head of my co-worker saying just the wrong thing  then and I actually say, out loud to my car, what I would say back to him. This includes all sorts of mean things and putting him in his place.

By the end of my rant I always feel 100% absurd for yelling to my windshield. Sadly, it still feels so satisfactory to just actually yell at something lol. Not that I would ever actually say any of those things (unless I really really pushed to far). It's not that I don't have a backbone or anything, but I was taught to respect my elders and this guy really does have a shit ton of stuff going on in his life.

Anyways...am I the only one that yells to nothing at all just to feel better? I love thinking about what I would theoretically say or what I should have said. lol

Welcome to my sleep deprived mind on a Wednesday morning ^^

lols happy, you tell that windshield who's boss. XD Don't worry, your not the only one who bottles everything up, only I don't yell, I play senarios in my mind and smile evily at what I come up with. B)

This is what I do in public, when I know I won't be driving for a while. XD

I totally do this too, I have a really hard time telling people I'm angry with them and with confrontations, so I do a lot of venting to myself, especially in the car!

I hope things get figured out with your coworker, you should definitely go talk to your boss about him though if it keeps happening!

Nope! I find it better to yell in the car. I also talk out dialogue for my fics while I'm driving, it's my most creative time. Plus, yelling in the car is better than crying in the shower at 2 a.m. which I can, in fact, tell you is not fun. Ah, the depressed years of my youth. You know, last year.
