Merlin Reaction

Merthur Merlin was on today!! SQUEE it was wonderful =D

-The beginning was a little slow, but it picked up.
-I was a little put off by Arthur's treatment of Merlin, as it seemed a little harsh. But I get that he's dealing with having to banish Gwen and also dealing with the whole killing innocent druid boys- so that's pretty rough.
-So glad Arthur pretty much told Uncle Aggy to gtfo. YAY
-Just about jumped for joy when Percy was the one to calm Elyan down. Ship those two so hard! Adorbs! (even if Percy knocked him out right after. which was kind of hot btw. yes, I realize I'm weird.)
-I can't tell a lie. When Merlin and Arthur walked into the shrine there at the end, I was kind of hoping for a magic reveal. I know, I know- I have to stop getting my hopes up. But it was pretty much the perfect moment. They were actually alone together in the forest, there was potential for magical danger and the fallout could have happened in privacy! My heart was beating so fast hoping they had fooled us all and when we were least expecting it, it was gonna happen- just like that. Sadly, it didn't go that way- but oh well.
-That emotion filled scene at the end was absolutely beautiful. Bradley James has seriously stepped it up this season!! Man, oh man he is gorgeous and such a good actor.
-Loved that Arthur trusted Merlin enough to see him in that state of vulnerability.
-Really kinda hated Gauis this entire episode
-Just like every other Merthur fan, I was DELIGHTED with that end scene. We didn't get a hug, but instead we got an off screen sex scene =DDDDD

Now to try and convince myself to do some writing....I only have an hour until my husband gets off work and then all productivity will be gone.

I kind of agree about Arthur being a little mean to Merlin, it seemed a little season 1 to me, a little too much teasing and not enough smiling and love. But I get it, he was upset about Gwen and the boy so I guess its understandable. But poor Merlin, he just wanted Arthur to let him take care of him :(

Bradley has been seriously amazing this season, god that shrine scene was beautiful and perfect and Bradley was just amazing and broke my heart!

and yay for off screen sex! hehe

This was a great but creepy episode and I totally believe Athur owned it! He did a wonderful display of emotions and I love it!
