rambling and TVD/TSC review
This week has not been fun. As for the bad news this is all I have to say on the matter (since I complain to much as is):
1. I told my husband I was going to change my name and run away to Mexico. He said I wasn't allowed to do that and I agreed 'Mexico is too dangerous'. But I think ppl could find me if I go someplace like Canada. Don't they extradite Americans there? idek. Anyways, I just keep trying to remind myself it's just until May and then I can (hopefully) stop living paycheck to paycheck and having no time to myself. Perhaps I can even convince my husband to move to Europe.
2. In order to avoid a minor panic attack I had four Hornsby's (apple beer), got fantastically drunk and watched Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle. It was actually a whole lot of fun and then I slept much better than I have in a while. I pretty much plan on doing the same thing tonight- I do have a beer pong championship to win. (is beer pong an American thing? what drinking games do you guys play?)
On a happier note...I have started my merlin hols fic like I stated earlier this week and I'm 100% in love with this fic. I'm only 2,500 words in- so not nearly as far as I'd like to be at this point- but the writing is coming easy and that makes me so insanely happy.
Also started a new Merlin Birthday Gifting community for slash fans. Pretty excited about the whole ordeal cus a.) I'm a nerd and I'm just excited to mod something. b.) I think it's the most awesome idea ever and we're going to have a lot of fun!
And now I'm going to try and review my shows that I was only kinda sober to watch:
Vampire Diaries
This episode wasn't quite as exciting, but still pretty good. I don't know how I feel about all this drama playing out at highschool. We've been away from that atmosphere since the end of season one so it seems odd to be thrown back into it. It seems weird that the vamps are going to the school. Why can't they just sit outside somewhere and keep an eye on them? They do have super good sight/hearing and all- do they really have to be right next to them in class?
I'm 100% hating this Tyler/Rebekah thing that's going on. I hate her so much. Like I said last week, I think she's a good character and she's well portrayed, but I just don't like her. Klaus has something about him that makes me actually like him even though he's bad, but Rebekah. ugh, she can go stake herself for all I care. FORWOOD 4 EVA!!!!
I SO called that Michael was going to feed on vampire blood. I figured that last week and I kept trying to tell Kathy that taking the chains off was a horrible idea. If they've killed my bb KatherinE I might have to hurt something =(
The Jeremy/Anna thing is still really messing me up. I can't help shipping them so hard. And I know this is weird, but I'm actually kinda seeing this weird Matt/Bonnie thing they've got going on. They have more chemistry in two episodes than I've ever felt out of Jeremy/Bonnie. Just sayin.
The Delena scenes *sigh* 'I'll do anything Elena' omg...he would kill his BROTHER for her. These two just kill me. I wanted them to kiss SO bad, but I'm loving how the writers are handling it. She doesn't want to be like Katherine, but with Stefan all messed up and Damon
being all protective of her (and ridiculously hot) how could she not 'be human' (as Care put it) and start to have feelings for him. When they do finally hook up *flail* I just can't wait!
Ripper! Stefan is doing all kinds of funny things to my insides. He's so much more of an interesting character like this! I hope we never get old Stefan back! Maybe toned down a bit, some humanity in tact, but never less of a bamf! cus he's seriously rocking it. Also just about died when Elena staked him in the end. BAMF! Elena woot!
p.s. Can't Damon just turn Elena into a vampire already?

I keep waiting for this show to pick up and I'm afraid it's never going to happen :(
I thought Jake was fairly hot so that was nice.
Didn't really enjoy the Faye/Jake backstory.
Thought Faye was a total bitch for being so unkind to Melissa.
Def cried when Melissa was balling in Nick's bed, poor bb.
Cassie is supossed to be the leader of the circle? That just seems weird. We need more character development and some bamfness from her before I can believe it.
Diane/Adam breakup- yay! So sad w/ith Diane going to Cassie for comfort :( d'awwww
My comments just arn't that in depth because the show isn't at his point.
And most importantly of all:
MERLIN IS TOMORROW!!!!!! *EEK*
