Based on your description of your metabolism, I would recommend upping your protein intake, eating protein 5 meals a day, and doing some body-building. You can do some cardio or dance as well to shed a few pounds, but what you need to do is shift your muscle/fat ratio to jumpstart a change in your metabolism.
I have a painfully slow metabolism, and I stall in weightloss all the time. It's counter-intuitive, but eating MORE makes me lose weight better, and feel better and more active and less depressed. It's the whole fueling your body for activity thing.
I'm terrible for following my own advice - I eat crap and feel depressed, and skip meals but don't lose weight. The protein/body-building trick is the only thing that really makes a difference (in weight-loss and in depression). Although not eating in the evening also works well for me for weight-loss.
Post about your progress lots! Maybe it will inspire me again. I went to Curves 4 times the week before last, and zero times this past week. Hoping to start again this week - but I didn't go today. :(
