totally agree with you on all points, especially with Damon telling Elena off, I'm glad the writers realized we don't need another Stefan. One of the thing I loved about Damon and Elena, is that they don't always see eye-to-eye, he doesn't bend to her will like a lost puppy, he doesn't sugar-coat anything for her, and just tells it like it is. He's not STEFAN, and will never be, (thank God for that)
